Eckharts and Eaz-Lift

Starting in 1952, when I was just a kid, MH Mathison, the founder of Eaz-Lift, would stop by my Dad's shop at Pico & Sepulveda, and sell my him the first Eaz-Lift load equalizing hitches out of the back of his pickup truck that he had built in his garage. Vacation, Standard, Standard D and the Jumbo, were available for the lightest to heaviest trailers.

Since conception, their basic design is unchanged; state of the art from the beginning.

I've been around Eaz-Lift all my life.
I've seen others come and go, break then fail and fail to perform.

I remember my Dad telling me we made the least amount of money on them but they are the best. So that's the only thing we sell.
